Outer shell: Polyester with waterproof and breathable TPU lining.
Inner layer: Suede cloth - the perfect moisture wicking material against bubs bum.
Sizing
With the snap of a few buttons, your Alva Baby modern cloth nappy will easily resize as you need. The nappies are designed to fit newborns up to busy toddlers and everything in between (approx 4 - 17kg) with over 16 different sized settings.
Insert
- Place the insert inside the nappy through the open pocket in the back
- 4 layers design. The outside 2 layers are 250g bamboo and the inside 2 layers are microfiber. This makes the insert super absorbent, wicking the moisture away from bubs bum.
- Easy to use and very soft
- Machine washable and dryable
- Absorbency of the material will increase over time as the natural fibres expand to hold more liquid. It may take 6 washes or more before it reaches full absorbency

How many do i need?
A full-time pack of Alva Baby Modern Cloth Nappies is 15-20 nappies, and a part-time pack is 8-10 nappies. It's always a good idea to trial the nappies first to make sure you and bub like them. A trial pack can be as little as 3 nappies to get you started. Buy 8 or more nappies to receive a free gift.
Any one modern cloth nappy used is one less disposable nappy in landfill for the next 500 years!
Washing Instructions
- Remove and rinse off the residuals (knock solids into toilet), then store in dry pail;
- Pre wash in washing machine at the end of each day (30-60 minutes) in 40-60oC;
- Wash in washing machine every 2-3 days (cottons, 2+hours) in 40-60oC;
- Hang up to dry in the sun (sunlight helps bleach the nappies to remove any remaining stains), or low tumble dry;
- Do not use bleach or softner.

To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep shipping costs for customers as low as possible, orders are dispatched Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays only (excluding public holidays).

Packaging and Recycling
Our aim at Play Nourish Thrive is to create as little unnecessary waste as possible. We use compostable satchels, labels, and compostable alternatives to bubble wrap. Boxes are from sustainable sources and can be reused or recycled. We will not use conventional bubble-wrap unless your purchase is breakable or would get damaged otherwise. Any bubble-wrap that we do use has been reused from other sources.
